Since the advent of the World Wide Web, an more and more of people in developed and developing countries have been using Information & Communications Technology (ICT), to bring about changes in their work methods for greater efficiency in their respective field of endeavour.

To awaken, encourage and assist the Chinese business community on the use of ICT to enhance their global competitiveness, ACCCIM has published the Handbook on Promoting Greater Utilisation of Information and Communications Technology Towards Business Competitiveness, in an attempt to introduce in a simple and practical manner to the SMEs the use of ICT and the myriad of hardware and software available in the various areas of management, production, marketing etc. Besides, some relevant incentives granted by government for eligible enterprises are introduced in the guidebook as well.

ACCCIM Handbook on Promoting & Practising Universal Values & Good Work Ethics

ACCCIM in its efforts to promote trade and industrial investments has come to realise that many factors contributing to the success of an enterprise. The most crucial factor is practising universal values and good work ethics.

As a credence to this realisation, the ACCCIM International Trade & Industry I Committee has published a booklet in Chinese as well as English in the mid of June 2005 for reference of its members. ACCCIM believe that the re-inculcation and promotion of the universal values and good work ethics as enumerated in this booklet will contribute much to reinforcing the moral and economic foundation of the nation, and this in turn will propel us to progress in an enduring environment of peace and harmony towards Vision 2020.
