Introduction

The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) and ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET) are jointly organising an international conference in November 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE), The Engineering Academy of Japan (EAJ), The National Academy of Engineering of Korea (NAEK), Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) and ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO) have accepted invitation to be the supporting organisations of this international conference. A Roundtable Meeting of the Academies of Engineering will be organised in conjunction with the international conference.
